“Mati” Fashion House Charity Evening for Our Summer School

On September 9, a humanitarian evening organized by Fashion House „Мati“. was held at the Russian House in Belgrade. As they entered, visitors were invited to leave voluntary donations in support of the Humanitarian Organization “Kosovsko Pomoravlje.”

The Russian House was filled to capacity. Some members of the audience followed the program standing, including from the gallery. The entire evening was emotional, inspiring and deeply rooted in love for the country and its heritage.

An Evening Dedicated to the Great War and Kosovo and Metohija

The program brought together acting, monologues, music, singing, poetry recitals, ballet, video projections and fashion design. Through a series of performances, important moments from Serbian history were presented, from the Battle of Cer and the retreat across Albania to Corfu and Kosovo and Metohija.

A special place in the program was given to Serbian-Russian friendship, the suffering and sacrifices of our ancestors, as well as the responsibility to preserve what we have inherited and pass it on to the children who come after us.

A stand of the Humanitarian Organization “Kosovsko Pomoravlje” was set up in the lobby of the Russian House. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about our work and our support programs for children and families in Kosovo and Metohija. The same space also featured works by artists from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as creations by Fashion House “Mati.”

Supporting the Next Summer School

A total of 594,521 dinars was raised during the humanitarian evening.

All funds will go toward organizing the next Kosovsko Pomoravlje Summer School. The program brings together children from different parts of Kosovo and Metohija and gives them an opportunity to learn, travel, make friends and grow up as part of a community.
