Our organization’s founder, Nikola Vasić, was a guest at the Kosovo-Metohija Afternoon, held at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Rotterdam on September 22nd. The event focused on the life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, with Father Christofor, a monk from the Draganac Monastery near Gnjilane, also sharing his insights.
In Rotterdam: Discussing Life in Kosovo and Metohija
This was the first time such an event was organized in the Rotterdam parish, attracting over a hundred attendees. The most important projects of our organization were presented, along with the everyday challenges faced by the Serbian community in this region
Attendees had the opportunity to learn in detail how our initiatives are carried out, how we reach the people we help, and the ways we collaborate with donors.
Youth, Children, and the Church
A special focus of the presentations was on young people and families with children who live in very difficult conditions, deprived of many ordinary and easily accessible opportunities.
The organizers aimed to bring life in Kosovo and Metohija closer to Serbs in the Netherlands, highlighting the youth who, through personal initiatives, show ways to make life better and easier for Serbs in the region. Father Christofor, together with the monastery community, faces daily challenges to support the Orthodox population and maintain the monastery as a sanctuary.
Thank You!
We are especially grateful for the generosity shown toward the people of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the collection of €2,000 in humanitarian aid.
