The best in first place
Experts of our time warn about the growing trend of our brightest and most productive members leaving the country. They stress that if this trend continues, society could face serious consequences. Many young people, seeking a better life, are moving to Western Europe. Poverty is no longer just an individual issue—it is a societal challenge. Generosity should be a moral imperative for all of us.
While some of the smartest leave, young Vidosav Vasić dreams of using his talents and knowledge one day to contribute to the future development of science in Serbia. Vidosav is a seventh-grade student at Dositej Obradović Elementary School in Parteš, a small village in Kosovo and Metohija. He is an outstanding student and recipient of numerous awards that highlight his exceptional intellect.
His life, however, is far from easy. Vidosav lives in a poor, eight-member family that is filled with happiness and love. His family is very proud of him. They face extremely difficult living conditions and cannot provide all the educational resources he needs. Vidosav emphasizes that they give him something far more valuable than money love and support, something that cannot be bought.
Teachers, classmates, and the school principal are just a few of the many witnesses to Vidosav’s talent in mathematics and computer science.
Kind-hearted people from the company Vuccom Spedicija.doo, led by director Zdravko Perić, helped bring joy to Vidosav and his family. They gifted him a computer in the hope that it will support the further development of his talents and make his free time more creative. Vidosav is overjoyed with the gift, and his parents are deeply grateful to these generous people.
On this occasion, we appeal to all kind-hearted people who are able to help other children in need across Kosovo and Metohija.
