Our members Marija Vasić and Stefan Mirković held a promotion of the Kosovo Pomoravlje organization on Sunday, April 30th, at the Draganac Monastery.
Visitors from Belgrade had the opportunity to learn more about the work and mission of our organization. We highlighted our projects supporting school-aged children and students, as well as local family-run productions.
It is very important for us to share the life in Kosovo and Metohija from the perspective of people who live here and see their future here. That’s why we focused on stories about families with children—their efforts to work and remain in their villages, and the challenges they face in raising and educating children in underdeveloped areas.
During the promotion, we also presented the “Buy from Kosovo” store, and Stefan spoke about small producers from Kosovo and Metohija, opportunities to improve their products, and the importance of economic empowerment for families.
We are grateful to everyone who attentively listened to our presentation, and to the Draganać Monastery for allowing us to hold it within the monastery’s premises. We hope that meetings like this will help visitors to Kosovo and Metohija not only visit Serbian holy sites but also get to know the local people and understand their challenges, so that together we can experience and address these issues.
