I don’t care – I want a game and a book

We warmly invite you to the event organized by the Humanitarian Organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje “No Worries – I Want Play and Books!”, aiming to raise funds for the Summer School in Bratilovac, dedicated to children living isolated in small enclaves across Kosovo and Metohija.

The event will take place on April 10 at 6 PM at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade (Kraljice Natalije 43), in the Grand Hall. Esteemed speakers include Prof. Dr. Ranko Rajović, renowned specialist in internal medicine and neuroendocrinology, Head of the Department for Neuroscience in Education at the Faculty of Education in Koper, Prof. Dr. Vera Radović, full professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade, author of several books and studies in the field of didactics and teacher professional development, and our own Marija Vasić, journalist and communication specialist from Kosovsko Pomoravlje.

This charity event seeks to collect funds for children who, during school breaks, cannot spend time with peers simply because there are no other children in their villages.

Our friend Boki from Bratilovac, near Kosovska Kamenica, is the only preschooler in his village. During last year’s Summer School, he met new friends, learned, and played with them. His wish is to have the same chance again this year – to spend his summer with friends, not in solitude.

If each of us attends the event and contributes even 400–500 dinars (or as much as possible), Boki and many other children would be able to attend the Summer School in Bratilovac. There, they can play with peers, learn through fun, go on trips, and at least once a year feel the joy of carefree childhood, friendship, and freedom.

If you wish to support children from Kosovo and Metohija who live in enclaves, join us on April 10 at 6 PM at the Faculty of Teacher Education. Together, we can create lasting memories for them by making this Summer School possible through donations.
