Four of this year’s five highest-achieving students at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Priština, temporarily based in Zvečan, are scholarship recipients of the Humanitarian Organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje.
Through their dedication, talent, and hard work, our scholarship recipients have shown that a scholarship is much more than financial support. It is encouragement for a young person to continue learning, creating, and reaching their full potential. This year’s outstanding students from the Faculty of Arts include our scholarship recipients Jovana Pešić, Božidar Popović, Jovana Dimić, and Jovana Stanojković.
Jovana Pešić’s Remarkable Achievement
Among the award recipients, Jovana Pešić holds a truly special place. She accomplished an extraordinary and rare achievement by receiving the “Outstanding Student” award from two faculties on the same day—the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Faculty of Arts—for her exceptional academic performance and dedication. In addition, Jovana received a diploma recognizing her outstanding achievements in the Performing Arts study program.
“For one student to receive such prestigious awards from two faculties on the same day is an unprecedented event in the history of our University,” the Faculty of Arts announced on its official page.
Jovana’s success reflects both exceptional talent and years of dedicated work. It also demonstrates that young people from Kosovo and Metohija, despite many challenges, are capable of achieving the highest academic and artistic standards.
Our Scholarship Recipients Among the Best
Alongside Jovana Pešić, several other scholarship recipients from the Faculty of Arts were recognized for their exceptional achievements.
Božidar Popović, a fourth-year student, received a diploma for outstanding results in the Sculpture study program.
Jovana Dimić, also a fourth-year student, was awarded for her achievements in the Graphic Arts study program.
Jovana Stanojković, a fourth-year student, received recognition for her outstanding performance in the Music Education study program.
The fact that four of the five top students at the Faculty of Arts are scholarship recipients of our organization is a tremendous source of pride for us.
It is also the strongest confirmation that the scholarship program of the Humanitarian Organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje successfully supports dedication, knowledge, discipline, and talent.

From Scholarship Recipient to Award-Winning Artist
We are equally proud of our former scholarship recipient from the Faculty of Arts, Stefan Boškoćević. This year, Stefan received the prestigious „Dimitrije Popović” award as the Best Young Artist from Kosovo and Metohija. Today, he is a member of the Faculty of Arts staff, proving once again that investing in young people can lead to remarkable accomplishments.
Last year, the same prestigious award was presented to Valentina Kojić, who was also a scholarship recipient of the Humanitarian Organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje.

Through their work, our scholarship recipients demonstrate that life in Kosovo and Metohija remains deeply rooted in meaning, beauty, and centuries of artistic and cultural heritage.
