Help for the Stojković family of six

“Kindness knows and can do so much, yet speaks only through a smile,” once said Ivo Andrić. Today, the Stojković family from Donje Močare spoke with a smile. Humanity from the diaspora reached the hearts of Srđan, Milica, Filip, Luka, Danijel, and Dunja today. Our deepest gratitude goes to our greatest donor, Mrs. Violeta Zafirovski from Switzerland. By her example, she has shown that kindness knows no borders. Inspired by the idea of a charity tournament, Violeta donated funds to the Humanitarian Organization “Kosovsko Pomoravlje” to help families and institutions in Kosovo and Metohija. Thanks to the organization of Mrs. Sandra Janićijević and Mr. Goran Mekić, a charity tournament was held in Israel, raising funds for Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. Their idea motivated Violeta and many others around the world to support our people. Today, members of our organization delivered materials to the Stojković family for plastering their home. Until now, the entire family lived in a single room. Srđan and Milica lacked the means to renovate their house for their family. Today, that problem has been solved, and the Stojkovićs can now live more comfortably and happily. This donation from our friends in the diaspora is just one in a series planned in cooperation with the Humanitarian Organization “Kosovsko Pomoravlje,” aimed at helping vulnerable families in Kosovo and Metohija. Collaboration with Serbs in the diaspora is of great importance for the Serbian community in our southern province. It is one of the best ways to improve living conditions, reduce daily challenges, and support the survival of the Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija.
