On Christmas Eve, Aleksandar Jevtić from Korminjane, near Kosovska Kamenica, lost almost all of his livestock feed and the building where it was stored due to faulty installation.
This was a huge blow for the young, 30-year-old farmer from Kosovo and Metohija, who has relied solely on sheep farming for years.
Aleksandar reached out to our organization, asking for help to rebuild the feed storage building. The total cost of the project is around 3,000 euros, and this support would greatly ease his situation and provide much-needed assistance.
Eight years ago, Aleksandar started sheep farming on his own. He took a loan for his first 17 sheep and, with his family’s support, decided that agriculture would be his primary occupation.
Although examples like Aleksandar are rare among young people, he says the business is going well so far and that there are still many opportunities to grow.
To give this determined young farmer a boost and show our support, we invite you to help Aleksandar recover from the fire damage and continue expanding his farm in Kosovo and Metohija!
