This October, the traditional visit from the brothers of Slanci was once again a joyful occasion. We warmly welcomed our friends from the Missionary Brotherhood of Saint Stephen and the Metoh singing group.
Along with visiting Serbian holy sites across Kosovo and Metohija and attending Liturgies, the visit had a humanitarian aspect. Together, we visited five families in the Kosovo Pomoravlje region. Each household received a one-time financial aid of €500 as a donation from the Brotherhood.
The support means a lot to the Simić family from Gornji Kusac, the Dimitrijević family from Poneš, the Krstić family from Glogovac, the Stević family from Pasjane, and the Jerinić family from Grnčar. Each of these families faces different challenges and needs, yet they all share the uncertainty of daily life in Kosovo and Metohija, the lack of opportunities to earn a living, and the determination to stay in their homeland despite it all.
We are deeply grateful to our dear brothers, who once again honored our organization with their trust, helping us carry out this action and constantly reminding us that our Serbian people do not forget us.
