The 23rd International Mini Basketball Festival “Raško Žižić,” officially opened on January 18, 2025, at the Belgrade Fair, welcomed 120 teams of girls and boys from across the region, celebrating 25 years of mini basketball in Serbia.
Our Kosovo Pomoravlje Basketball School attended the festival on January 17–18, competing with four teams—two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams—and played a total of 16 games, with 55 children from the younger group participating.
The festival was opened by Ana Joković, Božidar Maljković, and Rade Georgievski, who emphasized the importance of sports and socializing. The ceremony was made even more spectacular with the release of thousands of balloons in the colors of the Serbian flag. All participants received medals and trophies, while special recognition was given to those who contributed to the development of mini basketball.
We are grateful to everyone whose donations made it possible for us to travel to Belgrade and give the children from Kosovo Pomoravlje the opportunity to socialize and play basketball with their peers.
