During the visit to Belgrade on February 1st and 2nd, a collaboration was established between the Basketball School Kosovo Pomoravljе and the Institute for Women’s Sports from Belgrade. . The meeting at DKC Majdan in Belgrade was a wonderful opportunity for the children from our club, especially the girls, to learn about the Institute’s work and hear interesting and educational messages from sports experts during a short lecture.
Afterwards, matches were organized between various women’s teams from clubs in Belgrade, Banja Luka, Kosovska Mitrovica, and Parteš. All our girls had the chance to test their basketball skills against their peers, cheered on by their teammates. Following the sports program, there was an opportunity for discussions and planning for future collaboration with the Institute, which we are eagerly looking forward to.
In addition to the girls, the older group of boys had the chance to play a friendly match with Vizura from Zemun. We enjoyed their warm hospitality and good basketball, hoping to meet again soon. After this match, we were guests of FMP and attended the ABA League game between FMP and Spartak at the Železnik hall. Our young basketball players were thrilled to take photos with the players after the game.
We sincerely thank the Institute for Women’s Sports, KK Vizura, KK FMP, and Mr. Ivan Ashanin for their warm welcome and heartfelt cooperation, which we hope will continue in the future.
