Valentina and Blagica Received Their First Bicycles Thanks to the Serbian Diaspora in Canada
From the Dimić family we support through the campaign “A Little Means a Lot we learned during our visit that the girls were waiting for their dad to sell seedlings so they could finally get bicycles. Boban explained that the girls cannot play beyond their yard, as they are the only Serbian children in that part of the village. Since their friends and schoolyard are far away, bicycles bring them true joy.
Blagica and Valentina from Mogila Got Bicycles from Children and Parents in Windsor
During the campaign “A Little Means a Lot”, we connected with Serbs living in Canada. Their wish was for their first donation to our organization to be directed toward children. Thanks to the parents and children of the St. Dimitrije Church-School Community in Windsor, Valentina and Blagica received their very first bicycles. The Serbs in Canada collected €260 in their parish and donated it to the children of Kosovo and Metohija.
Children of Kosovo and Metohija in the Prayers of Serbs in Canada
We are deeply grateful and joyful that solidarity and love unite our people worldwide in doing good deeds together. During the time of the Easter fast and preparation for our greatest holiday, it is a great encouragement to know that Serbs across the world keep the children of Kosovo and Metohija in their thoughts and prayers, just as we keep them in ours.
