We supported the Sentić family from the village of Koretište in Kosovo and Metohija by purchasing and equipping a kitchen worth 115,000 dinars. This assistance was carried out in cooperation with students from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, members of the student organization Serbian Political Forum, with whom we often organize joint humanitarian initiatives.
Solidarity in action
The Sentić family has five members, including three minor children born in 2016, 2019, and 2024. They live modestly, relying on minimal income, child benefits, and agriculture to the extent that the head of the household, Jovica, is able to work especially considering his health challenges.
Although they were granted a house in 2023, they have not yet been able to move in, as the basic conditions for everyday life were missing. For this reason, equipping the kitchen was a crucial step toward giving this family the opportunity for a more stable, peaceful, and dignified new beginning in their own home.
