Life at K&M

Messages of solidarity from the boy Milan from Rotterdam

Thanks to the wonderful hospitality of our friend Sonja, who lives in Rotterdam, many Serbs in the Netherlands have learned about Kosovo Pomoravlje and the work of our organization. After the visit of our father Christofor and Nikola to the Netherlands, parishioners of the Holy Trinity Church in Rotterdam showed great interest and support for everything we do.

The Big Heart of Milan from Rotterdam

This Christmas, a very special and joyful message of solidarity and humanity came from Milan, a 12-year-old boy from Rotterdam. Moved by stories about children growing up in Kosovo and Metohija, Milan started his own humanitarian initiative to help and brighten their childhood. Our friend Sonja shared with us this wonderful, touching gesture of love from a boy to his peers in Kosovo.

Milan’s Messages of Solidarity and Love

Milan is a twelve-year-old boy with special needs. Inspired by the lives of children in Kosovo and Metohija, he wanted to reach out and offer a hand of solidarity. With the help of a computer program and his mother, he created postcards and small plaques with messages of peace and love in both Serbian and Dutch.

Exhibition at the Holy Trinity Church in Rotterdam

On Christmas Eve, January 6th, 2025, Milan, together with his mother, displayed his works at the Holy Trinity Church in Rotterdam. Parishioners could purchase them for a small donation. The interest was great, and Milan’s messages of solidarity and humanity resonated far and wide. Through his creative gesture, he showed us the true importance of solidarity and love.

Thank You, Milan, and the Serbs in Rotterdam!

Milan’s wonderful gesture left us speechless and brought tears of joy. A big thank you to him, his family, and all the kind people who, during the most joyful holiday, thought of children from Kosovo and Metohija. We will make sure to bring joy to the children as soon as possible by delivering the donations collected through his heartfelt initiative and send Milan photos and greetings.
