Together with us, they visited seven families in Kosovo Pomoravlje and learned about the lives of Serbs in southern Kosovo. What left the strongest impression on everyone after the visit were the words of one of our hosts “Your visit is our greatest support”. “It is more valuable than any material help!”
Support for students from Kosovo and Metohija
To the Denić family from Izvor, with three children, we donated a laptop needed for online classes. To Nikola Denić, a high school student from Straža, who is currently the only boy in the neighborhood, we brought a tableVisits That Bring the Greatest Support
In Koretište, a Serbian village near Gnjilane, we visited two households. The six-member Stojković family, living on minimal income, survives on daily wages earned by the father, Dragan Stojković, working for Albanians while enduring daily provocations. We also visited the Filipović family with three children, who received support for the first time in 22 years. Each family received a donation of 500 euros. We helped Dragan Marković, a farmer from Kmetovac who grows in greenhouses, to replace the plastic and structure damaged by bad weather. In Manuti, we visited the five-member Jović family, who live from farming and are the only family left in their neighborhood. The 500-euro donation will go toward building a room for cheese-making, a project our organization recently initiated. In Zebinac, we visited the Kostić family, who have five children and work their land. This time, we donated a wood stove to them.Together for a new accordion for the Stojković Brothers
At the end of our visit, we also met young musical talents from Kosovo and Metohija, Jovan and Nikola Stojković. The Stojković brothers are our best accordionists, having won over 30 significant awards so far. We are currently running action to buy a new accordion for the Stojković brothers, supported by a 500-euro donation from our friends in Slanci
