For the Perić family from Parteš, we purchased firewood worth 500 euros. Thanks to the kindness of those who follow and support us, this young family with two children and a third on the way no longer has to worry about staying warm this winter.
A Cross in the Wood
While cutting and preparing the firewood for winter, Dušan, the head of the household, noticed a cross inside one of the logs. Perfectly shaped, like a carved symbol burned into the wood, it appeared after splitting.
It was a moving moment and a sign for this hardworking young man who strives to provide for his family—a reminder that God is thinking of him.
