The scholarship program for students from Kosovo and Metohija aims to help pupils studying away from home and regular university students who are not receiving other scholarships.
Why did we start this program?
During our humanitarian work in Kosovo and Metohija, we often have the chance to talk with people about the challenges they face. Unfortunately, one of the main concerns for parents is whether they will have enough money to educate their children. There are very few programs that provide scholarships or support for children and youth. The hardest part is quietly listening to parents who struggle to afford a bus ticket, tuition, rent, dormitory, meals, books, brushes, compasses, paints… Limited job opportunities increase the chances that an excellent student may not attend university. Perhaps a talented painter or musician dreams of having their own exhibition or concert one day, but today they have no opportunity to show their talent. We have these conversations carefully, so that despite reality, we do not extinguish the spark of knowledge and hope that anything is possible if one dedicates themselves to what they love.
Who can receive a scholarship?
Scholarships are available to all students from Kosovo and Metohija who study away from home, resulting in higher expenses. Pupils must have excellent grades and live in a student dormitory. University students must be enrolled as full-time students, not repeating a year, and not be recipients of other scholarships. Applicants can apply themselves or be invited by our organization. Scholarships will be awarded according to the total scholarship fund and the organization’s possibilities
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship amount is €100 per month, paid by the 5th of each month. Funds are transferred directly to the students’ personal accounts, and upon receiving the scholarship, students sign a scholarship agreement with our organization
Call to donors
