Recently, in the churchyard of Parteš, we completed the renovation of a children’s park. The old elements were in very poor condition, so everything that was damaged, broken, or worn out was replaced and restored. We also added new equipment to make the park more enjoyable for the children.

Every child deserves a park
Serbian communities in Kosovo and Metohija have very limited facilities for children. Investment is needed both in maintaining and restoring existing spaces, as well as in creating new parks and playgrounds across the region.
That’s why this project is so important—it draws attention to the quality of childhood in Kosovo and Metohija and to the need for equal opportunities for children throughout the province.
Sports facilities, cultural events, and education are the only real ways to protect children in Kosovo and Metohija from the uncertainties of everyday life and the challenges their families face.
