The holiday gift packages for children in Metohija arrived just before the Serbian New Year. Our volunteers visited the villages of Osojane, Crkolez, Suvi Lukavac, Dragoljevac, as well as the church in Istok.
We distributed nearly 100 gift packages in Metohija, bringing joy to the children thanks to the generous donations of kind-hearted people.
For families in Metohija
Visiting Metohija is always deeply emotional and, at times, moving, but we are encouraged by the unbreakable will of our people to remain on this sacred land. Raising children in the Metohija enclaves is a heroic effort by Serbian families, both returnee families and many others who have endured the harshest conditions.
Supporting Children and youth in Metohija
Our mission is to visit families during the holidays to talk about their lives and the challenges they face. This allows us to show our supporters a glimpse of life in Kosovo and Metohija and to gain support for finding long-term solutions crucial for families to remain.
Supporting children and youth is at the heart of everything we do, which is why every action we take is dedicated to them. This year’s campaign in Metohija was successfully carried out, and, God willing, it will inspire many more initiatives in the coming year.
