The Church of Saint Emperor Uroš in Uroševac
The Church of Saint Emperor Uroš is the only church in the Serbian Orthodox Church named after the last ruler of the holy Nemanjić dynasty. In a town that once had 13,500 Serbs, today only the priest’s family resides there. Despite the many hardships faced by this church, thanks to God, it has been restored—not just physically, but spiritually, as Father Trajko noted. Due to the increasing number of visitors, and with the blessing of Metropolitan Teodosije, Father Trajko initiated the construction of a candle burner, a church store, and offices for the Uroševac parish.
