Let’s donate on Vidovdan campaign

The humanitarian organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje has launched a campaign to collect aid for babies born in Pasjane. With the help of kind-hearted people, we aim to support young mothers and the only Serbian maternity hospital in Kosovo Pomoravlje. With the funds raised, we will provide essential items for babies during their first months: sleepwear for mothers, baby supplies, bottles, pacifiers, diapers, baby formula, and hygiene products. On Vidovdan, members of the organization plan to deliver care packages to mothers and their newborns. But the campaign doesn’t end there. From Vidovdan onward, we will strive to give a package to every newborn, encouraging a rise in birth rates. This aid is especially important, as the people of Kosovo Pomoravlje have lived on the edge of poverty for many years. The number of newborns has increased since the first maternity hospital opened in Pasjane in 2015. This month, sixteen babies were born in Pasjane. With their first steps, the Serbian spirit will continue to grow in Kosovo Pomoravlje. The Vidovdan pledge constantly reminds us of our commitment to Christian values, which we must pass on to future generations. This is the only path for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. Vidovdan symbolizes for us the spirit, the people, and the faith in a brighter tomorrow – as long as our children are born, our future is bright.
