House renovation and children’s room for the Radović family

The house extension and a children’s room for the Radović family from Šilovo have been completed.

As part of the campaign A Little Means a Lot , we finished the construction works on the Radović family’s home in Šilovo near Gnjilane. Dejan and Jelena, together with their children, had been waiting for years to move into a safe home. Until now, they had only one unfinished new house and an old one on the verge of collapsing.

Thanks to your donations, we managed to help them expand the house and furnish a room for their daughters. The small old living room was rebuilt and expanded from the ground up — foundations, walls, and roof. New windows were installed, walls finished, and the space transformed into a living room, bedroom, and guest room. Since the house previously had just a small children’s room and a bathroom, this extension now means so much for their everyday life.

A Total of €5,400 Donated for the Radović Family

The A Little Means a Lot campaign truly carries its name because of families like the Radovićs. They are hardworking and dedicated parents, saving for years to give their children a normal life. Sadly, their income barely covers daily needs, leaving nothing for the much-needed home improvements.

Joy for the Radović Sisters in Šilovo

The children’s room was the final surprise of this action. Thanks to your generosity, not only did we fulfill the parents’ wish, but we also created a cozy corner for play and learning. A new bed, desk, shelves, and decorations now brighten up the loveliest room in the house. The girls were especially happy to finally have a space where they can invite friends and spend their time.

Moving Into a New Home After 15 Years

Almost two decades of waiting have come to an end. The Radović family can finally move into their small but safe and warm home filled with love. Their gratitude and happiness show just how much this action has changed their lives.
