The humanitarian organization Kosovo Pomoravlje quickly organized an initiative shortly after its establishment to support the five-member Maksimović family from the village of Koretište in Kosovo.
The assistance collected included essential groceries, clothing, children’s supplies, and other necessities for daily life especially for the children because “no worldly ideal is worth a child’s tears.” Our three youngest members of the Maksimović family were delighted with the aid, which helped provide them with a somewhat better life.
People from all over Kosovo and Metohija, as well as from central Serbia, joined this effort. This initiative is proof that there are still good people in the world, and we believe that even more actions like this will take place in the coming year.
