As part of our ongoing project support for the population, this month we awarded the first four scholarships to students and pupils from Kosovo and Metohija.
The recipients of these first scholarships, worth €100 per month, are pupils Jovan Stojković from Parteš near Gnjilane and Tamara Miletić from the village of Opraške in the municipality of Istok, as well as students Ivana Ristić from Jasenovik near Novo Brdo and Jovana Trajković from Korminjane, close to Kosovska Kamenica.

Supporting students and education is one of our top priorities this year. We are especially grateful to our donor Luka, a generous young man living in the USA, who recognized the importance of this mission and became our regular supporter. Luka’s donations are dedicated exclusively to scholarships, directly helping talented pupils and students.
We hope that, following Luka’s example, more people will join this initiative and, within their means, help a young person at the beginning of their life journey.
Education and support for youth in Kosovo and Metohija must remain a priority for all who care about the future and the survival of our people here. Unfortunately, many families are unable to cover the costs of their children’s education or can only manage with great difficulty. Too often, because of financial hardship, young people cannot continue their studies or develop their talents.
Educated and accomplished young people are the foundation of every healthy society. That is why we believe it is crucial to give young people in Kosovo and Metohija the support they need to grow and succeed so that tomorrow, they can help their homeland and country with their knowledge, returning love and support to their community.
