Food assistance for 34 families in the Municipality of Vitina
1. October 2025.
We continue our efforts to support the people of Kosovo Pomoravlje amid the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
During today’s action, we distributed a total of 34 humanitarian packages to residents of the villages of Klokot, Binač, Mogila, Vrbovac, and Grnčar in the Vitina municipality. Since the state of emergency was declared, these villages have not received assistance with basic food supplies.
We strive to ensure that Serbs in southern Kosovo and Metohija feel solidarity among their fellow citizens not just during major crises, but every day. Our hope is for people in Kosovo to live free of social, political, or other divisions, and for those who have more to be encouraged to share their wealth with others.
The Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija have endured many difficult times, with each person experiencing hardship and suffering equally. That is why we must make every effort, even in today’s challenges, to empathize with those whose struggle with poverty and unemployment is the greatest, and to share a part of their burden as if it were our own.
