Our organization continues donating computers to the top students in Kosovo and Metohija. We recently surprised Strahinja Kocić, a sixth-grade student at “Mladen Marković” Elementary School in Vitina, with a computer.
Strahinja is an excellent student who, besides attending regular classes, goes to music school in Vrbovac and plays the accordion. He and his schoolmate Irena make up the entire sixth-grade class in Vitina. School is their only opportunity to socialize with other children. Since Vitina has become almost entirely Albanian after the war, the Serbian community’s life revolves around the church yard and the small school playground.

The village of Binac is just a few kilometers from Vitina, surrounded by breathtaking nature and embraced by the Binac Morava River, which gives it its name. While the Serbian population continues to persist, it has gradually decreased over the years. Consequently, the number of children in Vitina declines each year, but teachers do their best to provide them with the best possible education.

Our mission is to support them, giving children from enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija better educational opportunities and a brighter, happier childhood.
