Basketball club Kosovsko Pomoravlje - H.O Kosovsko Pomoravlje

The Basketball Club Kosovsko Pomoravlje was born out of a basketball school launched by the Humanitarian Organization Kosovsko Pomoravlje, with the goal of giving children and young people the opportunity to play sports and grow up in a healthy, supportive environment. Today, it is the only basketball club south of the Ibar River competing within the system of the Basketball Federation of Serbia.

Competitive teams and results

The club currently has three competitive teams – younger boys, younger girls, and cadets. The club recently completed its first successful competitive half-season. A particularly outstanding achievement comes from the girls’ team, which secured a place in the Quality League. This success marks an important milestone for both the club’s development and the growth of women’s basketball in Kosovsko Pomoravlje.

Basketball school and youth development

The club’s mission goes beyond results on the court. It is a place where children develop work habits, team spirit, discipline, and self-confidence. Young players are provided with free and regular training sessions, professional and continuous coaching, sports equipment, and the opportunity to socialize and progress in basketball.

A vital role for children south of the Ibar

In an environment where organized sports activities for children are limited, the club serves as an important gathering place. Basketball Club Kosovsko Pomoravlje is committed to offering younger generations a chance for healthy development and a better quality of life.

Support and future development

With the support of donors and friends of the organization, the club continues to improve training and competition conditions. The long-term goal is to foster the development of young athletes and strengthen the sports community in Kosovsko Pomoravlje.
