A panel discussion was held at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade

On June 27, 2023, the second humanitarian panel from the Life Behind the Wire series was held at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, with the theme “What It’s Like to Grow Up in Kosovo and Metohija Today.” Our organization, in cooperation with the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Law, successfully organized this event, which gathered over one hundred attendees.

However, the goal of the panel was not the number of participants, but an open conversation about the lives of children and young people in Kosovo and Metohija, so that together we can work on solutions to the challenges we can influence.

Speakers at the panel included our members Marija Vasić, Stefan Mirković, and Jelena Cvetković. The event was opened by the organization’s founder, Nikola Vasić, while the discussion was moderated by Natalija Paunović.

During the panel, we raised 45,000 dinars and 150 euros to support the project Summer School in Bratilovac.”

Given the great interest and the deeply emotional response of the audience, we plan to organize similar events in the future.

With the hope of raising public awareness about the everyday struggles of children and youth in Kosovo and Metohija, we sincerely thank everyone who supported the event and look forward to new meetings.
